Last year, at Desiring God's National Conference, Paul Tripp spoke on the topic "War of Words: Getting to the Heart for God's Sake." His message was funny, convicting, powerful, straight-to-the-point, and perfect for anyone who thinks or speaks. (Thinking is just unspoken words, right?)After a year, I downloaded it to my iTunes collection and listened to it again while cleaning the house the other day. But it was about a year too late, because it targets an area that I constantly seem to fight against - my sinful heart. Actually, it is about the power of our words, but words come from the heart.
So, if you're like me, and need a kick in the pants in regard to your heart and tongue, this message comes highly recommended. It is not difficult to understand or theologically complex - maybe that's what makes it so convicting - it is all too easy to understand...
